Meet the Staff

Ms. Shanice

RECE Supervisor

Hello Everyone, It is great to be at Cedar Creek with all the beautiful families! I started my career in early childhood education about 10 years ago when I received a diploma in early childhood education, and then obtained my Honours Bachelor's Degree. Two years ago, I helped open up Creek Childcare's first centre, Hickory Creek as the Supervisor. I went on Maternity leave October 2023, and I'm now in the supervisor position here at Cedar Creek. My career so far has been full of much fun, love, joy, and a little bit of crazy, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I look forward to being there for you all and watching your children flourish.

Ms. Samantha

RECE & Assistant Supervisor

Hi my name is Samantha but I usually go by Sam. From an early age I knew that I wanted to work with children. I graduated from Niagara College in 2015, and have been employed as an Early Childhood Educator since then. My interests include photography, music, fashion, nature and camping. I am so happy to be a part of the Cedar Creek team and excited to be helping prepare your children for their journey in education!

Hi my name is Brittany, I’ve been working as an RECE in the feild since graduating from Niagara College in 2019. I joined the Creek childcare team originally at Hickory Creek, but have recently joined the Cedar Creek team in August! In my free time I enjoy crafting, reading and spending lots of time outdoors, whether that be camping fishing, hiking, or anything else in between! I’m looking forward to watching each and every one of the children in our care grow and learn throughout their time with us!

Hi there, my name is Jessica. I was born and raised in Smithville, but currently residing in Beamsville. I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education and an Advanced diploma in Child and Youth Work. A fun fact about me is that I am fluent in French! In my down time, I enjoy painting, reading, and spending time with my loved ones.

Hello my name is Nicole. Childcare has always been my passion. I’ve been working in the childcare field for the last 10 years. You’ll find me on my spare time playing soccer, visiting my beautiful niece, on a bike ride with my mama and my dog in his basket, and jamming out to 90’s tunes in the car with my 3 sisters. I am so excited to be a part of the Cedar Creek team to help shape, teach, and motivate our little friends to learn and reach milestones.

Hi! My name is Chloe and I’m new to the field, switching from healthcare to childcare. In my spare time, I love to read, spend time with my family and cook. I’ve always loved working with children but after having my son, I decided it was time to get out of my comfort zone and take the leap. Everyday is so much fun as I watch your children unlock their potential, learn and develop new friendships. I’m so excited to learn and grow alongside your children!

Hi My name is Miss Olivia, I’m Portuguese and have 2 dogs named Bailey and Finnegan. I also have a cat named Chico and a gecko named Carlos. My favourite food is sushi and my go to hobby is pickleball in the nicer months and staying in a reading a good book in the colder months.
